Sam Adams Brewer Ends Contract Row With Ex-Exec, Anchor

Law360, New York (December 20, 2011, 7:46 PM EST) -- Samuel Adams brewer Boston Beer Corp. on Tuesday settled its suit against a former sales manager and rival Anchor Brewing Co. LLC, in which it accused the manager of violating his employment agreement by leaving to work for Anchor.

U.S. District Judge George O'Toole Jr. dismissed the case in Massachusetts federal court following the settlement agreement. No details of the settlement were released.

Boston Beer launched the suit in September, claiming Judd Hausner had violated his employment agreement by leaving the company for Anchor.
