Baggage Delivery Antitrust Suit Sent Packing

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 3:09 PM EST) -- An antitrust suit lodged by lost baggage delivery company Expedite Inc. against Plus Bags Cars & Serv LLC, its rival at Oregon's Portland International Airport, was dismissed Monday by a federal judge.

In a brief order, U.S. District Judge Marco A. Hernandez adopted a magistrate judge's recommendation that the antitrust claims in the suit be dismissed with prejudice, while granting Expedite leave to amend its fraud claim with greater specificity.
