9th Circ. Taps 3 For Calif. Bankruptcy Bench

Law360, New York (December 21, 2011, 8:12 PM EST) -- A Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP attorney, a Friedman Dumas & Springwater LLP partner and a solo practitioner have been tapped to replace three retiring California federal bankruptcy judges, the chief judge of the Ninth Circuit announced Tuesday.

Pillsbury Winthrop of counsel Mark D. Houle, 45, will be sworn into office in the Central District of California on Feb. 17, replacing U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ellen Carroll, who is retiring.
