Enel Wind Group Gets $339M For New Portugal Farms

Law360, New York (December 22, 2011, 2:34 PM EST) -- Eolicas de Portugal SA, a consortium in which Enel Green Power Espana holds a 40 percent stake, has executed a €260 million ($339 million) agreement with the European Investment Bank to finance wind farms in Portugal, Enel said Thursday.

The consortium, which also includes wind power operators EDP Renovaveis, based in Madrid, and Generg Group, based in Portugal, along with the German wind turbine maker Enercon GmbH as industrial partner, said the new wind farm would have a generation capacity of 376 megawatts.
