Philip Morris Fights $3.4M Jury Verdict In High Court

Law360, New York (December 23, 2011, 5:21 PM EST) -- Philip Morris USA Inc. and Liggett Group LLC last week asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a $3.4 million jury verdict in favor of a man whose wife died after smoking for years, in one of many suits stemming from the so-called Engle class action.
