NLRB Delays Notice-Posting Rule At Court's Request

Law360, New York (December 23, 2011, 5:29 PM EST) -- The National Labor Relations Board will postpone the effective date for its notice-posting rule at the request of the federal court overseeing a legal challenge from business groups, giving businesses three more months before they have to comply, the NLRB said Friday.

The rule, which requires businesses to post notices apprising workers of their right to unionize, is now slated to take effect April 30. The postponement announced Wednesday marks the second time the rule has been delayed: It was originally set to take effect Nov....
