Spire Settles With Catheter Co. Over Recall, Deal Bungle

Law360, New York (January 3, 2012, 4:20 PM EST) -- Medical device maker Spire Biomedical Inc. settled its breach of contract suit on Tuesday against Catheter and Disposables Technology Inc. claiming the supplier's manufacturing errors forced a massive catheter recall and bungled a corporate deal.

U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton approved a joint stipulation and order of dismissal submitted in Massachusetts federal court Friday by Spire, CDT and former CDT parent company Tactx Medical Inc.
