Steptoe Snags Ex-FERC Commissioner

Law360, New York (January 4, 2012, 5:55 PM EST) -- Steptoe & Johnson LLP said Wednesday it had landed Marc Spitzer, who recently stepped down as a commissioner for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, for its regulatory team in Washington.

Spitzer joined the firm as a partner in its electric power group and regulatory and industry affairs department. He ended a five-year stint at FERC on Dec. 14.
