By Vin Gurrieri (January 4, 2012, 8:26 PM EST) -- Defunct law firm Adorno & Yoss LLP and Creative Compounds LLP won a Missouri judge's approval Wednesday of a settlement in a case that accused the firm and one of its attorneys of allowing the supplement maker's patent applications to lapse.
U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. dismissed the suit with prejudice as a stipulation of a settlement that precludes Creative Compounds from pursuing any future actions against Adorno and its former partner Thomas L. Peterson over the handling of several patent applications. No other details of the September settlement were made available.
