FTC Judge Orders ProMedica To Sell Off St. Luke's

Law360, New York (January 5, 2012, 4:06 PM EST) -- A Federal Trade Commission judge has ordered ProMedica Health System Inc. to divest St. Luke's Hospital, ruling the merger would give the Ohio hospital group more bargaining power with insurers, ultimately pushing up rates for consumers, the regulator said Thursday.
