Scottish Equity Partners Closes New $310M Fund

Law360, New York (January 5, 2012, 3:05 PM EST) -- U.K. private equity firm Scottish Equity Partners Ltd. has successfully closed its newest fund, SEP IV, after meeting its goal of at least $310 million in capital commitments, SEP announced Thursday.

The Glasgow, Scotland-based PE firm said the new fund will focus on growth equity and venture capital investments in technology and tech-related companies in the U.K. The fund is one of the largest raised in Europe in 2011.
