Medtronic Asks Fed. Circ. To Nix Edwards' $74M IP Award

Law360, Washington (January 11, 2012, 4:03 PM EST) -- Medtronic Inc. subsidiary CoreValve Inc. told the Federal Circuit on Wednesday that a jury verdict that awarded $73.5 million to Edwards Lifesciences Corp. over infringement of catheter heart valve technology cannot stand based on the definitions in Edwards' patent.
