Ex-Im Bank To Boost Financing In India

Law360, New York (January 6, 2012, 3:15 PM EST) -- The leader of the Export-Import Bank of the United States reportedly said Friday that he expects India to become the global financing organization’s largest market within the next year to 18 months.

Ex-Im Bank Chairman and President Fred P. Hochberg led the export credit agency's delegation on the trip and met with representatives from India's automotive, health care and infrastructure sectors. According to the bank, Hochberg traveled to the south Indian cities of Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
