Supreme Court Declines Bear Stearns Records Suit

Law360, New York (January 9, 2012, 1:15 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court refused Monday to hear a former Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. official’s suit seeking to force the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System to release documents related to the 2008 rescue of Bear Stearns Cos. Inc.

The high court denied Vern McKinley’s October petition for certiorari asking the court to revive his suit, which the D.C. Circuit had dismissed in June.
