KPMG Under Fire For New Century Connection

Law360, New York (July 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- KPMG LLP has come under more heat for its work for New Century Financial Corp., with the subprime lender's unsecured creditors asking the bankruptcy court to force KPMG to hand over internal documents.

The request, filed Monday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, comes days after New Century’s examiner asked for court approval of his investigation of KPMG.
