Qwest Appeals Interconnection Contract Suit

Law360, New York (July 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A long-running battle between Qwest Corp. and AT&T Corp. entered another stage Monday when Qwest appealed a federal court ruling that it unlawfully failed to disclose interconnection agreements it had entered into with two AT&T rivals.

In its petition to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, Qwest did not deny the claims of AT&T Communications of the Midwest Inc. and TCG Minnesota Inc., but instead argued that the statute of limitations had expired.
