New Trade Enforcement Group To Monitor China

Law360, New York (January 10, 2012, 5:16 PM EST) -- A new U.S. government task force will keep tabs on China for potential trade and other violations in the White House's efforts to get tough on the often-uncooperative nation, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The as-yet-unannounced group, dubbed the Enforcement Task Force, will be charged with the enforcement of U.S. trade regulations against China, and will include officials from the U.S. Treasury, Commerce and Energy departments as well as the U.S. Trade Representative's office, the WSJ reported.
