Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 2:19 PM EST) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Tuesday refused to rule on bad faith claims against First Financial Co. for its refusal to indemnify pipeline manufacturer PolyFlow Inc. in a contracts dispute over an allegedly shoddy pipeline, finding that First Financial's motion failed to overcome substantial issues of fact.
The remaining issues go to the heart of the case, U.S. District Judge Ivan L.R. Lemelle said, including the extent of PolyFlow's insurance coverage and what that coverage requires First Financial to do.
