Nike To Pay $1M To Indonesian Workers For OT Claims

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 5:05 PM EST) -- A Nike Inc. factory in Indonesia on Wednesday agreed to pay more than $1 million to resolve claims that factory workers were forced to work overtime without being compensated, a company spokesman told Law360 on Thursday.

The Banten-based PT Nikomas Gemilang IY production plant agreed to compensate its employees for back wages a workers union had alleged its members were owed under Indonesian labor law.
