Canada Trade Panel To Revisit Chinese Aluminum Tariffs

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 4:13 PM EST) -- Canada's international trade panel announced on Wednesday it would consider whether to exclude certain Chinese aluminum products from a 2009 order that determined they and other merchandise were dumped on the Canadian market.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal said it would be conducting an interim review of its March 2009 findings necessitating anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese aluminum exports, citing protests by Canadian domestic producers that their aluminum products should be excluded from the order.
