Drinker Biddle Snatches Up Ex-USPTO Patent Commissioner

Law360, New York (January 12, 2012, 3:34 PM EST) -- Robert L. Stoll, who retired as the commissioner for patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Dec. 31, has joined Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as a partner in its Washington office, the firm said Thursday.

Stoll announced in November that he was retiring after a 29-year career at the USPTO, including serving as commissioner for patents for over two years.
