DOI Pushes For More Agencies' Input On RI Dam Project

Law360, New York (January 17, 2012, 8:22 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior on Friday urged the city of East Providence, R.I., to consult a slew of government agencies to ensure compliance with preservation and environmental regulations before proceeding with a project to add hydropower to an existing dam on the Ten Mile River.
