EPA Won't Enforce Boiler Emission Rules Until Spring

Law360, New York (January 18, 2012, 10:24 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection agency will not enforce any of its older existing rules on toxic emissions from large industrial boilers and incinerators until it has finalized new rules by spring this year, the agency said Wednesday.

The announcement followed a ruling in Washington federal court last week that found that the agency’s delay in implementing boiler emissions rules that it issued in March was not justified.
