Wilson Sonsini Hit With Suit Over Missing Certificates

Law360, New York (July 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Powerhouse law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and financial services giant Wells Fargo & Co. have been sued by Louisiana investors who say they were never given certificates for the stock they bought in what is now a Medtronic Inc. subsidiary.

Hector and Laurie Ventura filed their complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, saying the defendants—which included Medtronic—“continuously failed and refused” to deliver the certificates.
