Judge Holds Off On Deciding Brocade CEO's Fate

Law360, New York (July 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has reportedly declined to rule on a motion to dismiss criminal charges against former Brocade Communication Systems Inc. CEO Gregory Reyes, who allegedly failed to disclose the costs of backdated stock options paid to company employees.

The San Jose Mercury News reported on Friday that U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer said he might not rule on the motion until after the case has come before a jury, which may happen within the next week.
