Ethan Allen Can’t Share In Chinese Furniture Duties: CIT

Law360, New York (January 20, 2012, 6:29 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade on Friday shot down Ethan Allen Global Inc.'s suit seeking a cut of anti-dumping duties imposed on Chinese furniture imports, saying the company lost its rights to the money when it failed to support the investigation.

The CIT granted government regulators' motion to dismiss the suit, saying that a recent ruling in the Federal Circuit prevented Ethan Allen from invoking constitutional claims in its suit, which contested that its failure to take a position in the U.S. International Trade Commission's...
