Del. High Court Revives $882M Seafood Co. Sale Row

Law360, New York (January 20, 2012, 8:55 PM EST) -- Delaware's highest court on Friday revived a breach of contract suit by merchant bank Cambium Ltd. seeking a cut of private equity firm Trilantic Capital Partners LP's $882 million sale in 2010 of European seafood company MW Brands.

The Delaware Supreme Court reversed the June dismissal of Cambium's suit and sent the case back to the Delaware Chancery Court, saying the lower court had applied the wrong legal standard in dismissing the suit.
