Ill. State Trial Courts Ready For Their Close-Up

Law360, New York (January 24, 2012, 9:06 PM EST) -- News cameras may start rolling in Illinois state trial courts for the first time, thanks to a new experimental program announced Tuesday by the head of the state's highest court.

"This is another step to bring more transparency and more accountability to the Illinois court system," Illinois Chief Justice Thomas Kilbride said Tuesday.
