USPTO Sides With LG In Whirlpool Fridge Patent Feud

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 2:24 PM EST) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has rejected Whirlpool Corp.'s claims that it invented the concept for a type of refrigerator dispenser earlier than LG Electronics Inc., which LG said Tuesday was a victory in a long-running patent dispute.
