Little Caesars Franchisee Settles Child Labor Charges

Law360, New York (July 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The owner of 50 Little Caesars pizza restaurants has paid a $110,800 penalty for a variety of child labor violations, including that 14 to 17 year olds operated dough mixers.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, which announced the settlement Thursday, Caesars Utah LLC also violated hours and time standards for 14 and 15 year olds, and it violated occupation standards for baking operations.
