Monadelphous Lands $190M Pipeline Contracts

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 4:12 PM EST) -- Australia-based engineering firm Monadelphous Group Ltd. has continued to benefit from massive energy and mining projects Down Under and has won pipeline construction contracts worth roughly AU$180 million ($191 million), the company announced Monday.

Monadelphous has landed two contracts for major projects in western Australia, consisting of the construction of a potable water pipeline for mining giant Rio Tinto PLC and an underground carbon dioxide injection pipeline and natural gas wells for Chevron Corp., the engineering group said.
