Kirkland & Ellis Presents $3M Bill In Dura Case

Law360, New York (July 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Debtor counsel Kirkland & Ellis LLP has requested $3.12 million in fees and $156,000 in expenses for work it did on the Dura Automotive Systems Inc. bankruptcy case from March through June.

In a second interim fee application filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Kirkland & Ellis said nearly $2.5 million of that money had already been approved “via certification of no objection.” It then requested $624,000 in holdback fees.
