Jewish Mother Wins Discrimination Suit Against VA

Law360 (July 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A jury has ordered the increasingly beleaguered U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to fork over $300,000 to a former pharmacist who sued it for religious discrimination.

Lynne C. Krop, a Conservative Jew who worked at the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Medical Center in Florida, won the verdict after a four-day trial in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
