Hydro Plant In Indonesia Gets $330M Refinancing

Law360, New York (January 31, 2012, 3:00 PM EST) -- Indonesian power producer PT Bajradaya Sentranusa and Chinese engineering firm China Huadian Corp. have secured a $330.6 million refinancing for the Asahan 1 Hydroelectric Power Plant in North Sumatra through Malayan Banking Bhd., the Malaysian financial services company said Monday.

The 10-year, dual-currency credit facility from Malaysian Banking, known as Maybank, will be used to acquire the outstanding project loans for the construction of the 180 megawatt hydroelectric plant.
