China Announces Crackdown On Counterfeit Goods

Law360, New York (February 3, 2012, 3:31 PM EST) -- Several Chinese government agencies will launch a coordinated effort to quash the production and sale of counterfeit goods in the first quarter of 2012, particularly in rural markets, the Ministry of Commerce announced Friday.

The crackdown will focus on home appliances, foodstuffs, everyday-use chemical products and material for agricultural production, according to China’s Ministry of Commerce.
