Wind Damage Delays Nevada Transmission Line Project

Law360, New York (February 6, 2012, 2:23 PM EST) -- Electric utility NV Energy Inc.'s plans to complete a 500-kilovolt transmission line linking its northern and southern service areas in Nevada will be delayed at least three months after wind damaged some of the lines' towers, the company said Friday.

The One Nevada Transmission Line project, dubbed ON Line, is a joint venture of NV Energy and Great Basin Transmission South LLC, an affiliate of electric transmission and infrastructure developer LS Power Development LLC.
