Personal Injury Firm Settles Sexual Harassment Suit

Law360, New York (July 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A personal injury law firm has agreed to pay $15,000 to put to rest a lawsuit accusing a senior partner there of sexually harassing a woman who worked for him by touching her and making inappropriate comments.

In addition to paying Rebekah Womack Petrowski $15,000, the Tennessee-based Hill Boren PC is barred from taking any retaliatory or additional discriminatory steps, according to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunities Commission, which lodged the complaint in the District Court of Western Tennessee.
