Gindalbie Awards $614M Australian Iron Mine Contract

Law360, New York (February 6, 2012, 1:24 PM EST) -- Gindalbie Metals Ltd., an emerging miner in western Australia, has tapped a Sydney-based mining services company for a $614 million contract to build and manage its Karara iron ore mine, the company said Monday.

Under the six-year deal, Downer EDI Ltd. will build the mine infrastructure and provide services including hauling waste and ore.
