Mixed-Motive Analysis OK For Mass. Age Bias Claims: 1st Circ.

Law360, New York (February 8, 2012, 9:53 PM EST) -- The First Circuit held Tuesday that a trial court did not err in instructing a jury to account for mixed motives in a Massachusetts state law age-discrimination suit, rejecting Jiten Hotel Management Inc.'s assertion that the instruction was improper, and upholding a partial victory for an ex-employee.
