DC Circ. Says Seniors Can't Disown Medicare Eligibility

Law360, New York (February 7, 2012, 7:33 PM EST) -- Ruling on a lawsuit brought against U.S. government officials by former U.S. House Majority Leader Dick Armey, the D.C. Circuit found Tuesday that Armey and four other plaintiffs could not disclaim their entitlement to Medicare Part A in order to get better hospital coverage from their private insurers.
