China Greenlights $390M Coal Transport Project

Law360, New York (February 8, 2012, 2:01 PM EST) -- The Chinese government has approved a $390 million coal transportation project at a shipping port in the southeast China port city of Shantou, the majority owner of the project said Wednesday.

Huaneng Power International Inc., which owns 60 percent of the development, said the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China has given the project the go-ahead.
