In Landmark Case, Federal Circuit Finds For Merck

Law360 (July 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Following the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark 2005 decision in a case over whether drug makers can ignore their competitors' patents during research on rival treatments, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit Friday granted victory to German drug maker Merck KGaA.
