BA Prepares For Massive Price-Fixing Fine

Law360, New York (July 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- British Airways is gearing up to be hit with a multimillion pound fine sometime this week as a result of its alleged involvement in a scheme to fix fuel surcharges on cargo flights, according to published reports.

Several U.K. newspapers reported Monday that the U.S. Department of Justice will impose a fine on British Airways on Friday, the day on which the carrier is set to release its first quarter earnings.
