Court Denies Immunity For United Arab Emirates

Law360, New York (July 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appellate court has ruled that the United Arab Emirates is not immune from a wrongful termination and defamation suit filed by a former accountant at the Middle Eastern country's U.S. embassy because his work was based on commercial activities.
