Sazerac Fires Off Suit Over Cinnamon Whiskey Trademarks

Law360, New York (February 14, 2012, 4:24 PM EST) -- Liquor manufacturer Sazerac Co. Inc. cranked up the heat against rival Hood River Distillers Inc. Friday, accusing Hood River of unfair competition through the marketing and sale of SinFire, a cinnamon whiskey product that allegedly uses Sazerac's “Fire” trademarks and similar diabolical imagery.
