DC Metro Settles Most Cases Over Crash Deaths

Law360, New York (February 15, 2012, 5:39 PM EST) -- Settlements have been reached in seven of the nine wrongful death suits against the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority over a June 2009 Metro crash, an attorney for the victims' families said Wednesday.

Filed Wednesday as part of a sealed motion in Washington federal court, the terms of the settlement were not disclosed and plaintiffs attorney Salvatore Zambri of Regan Zambri & Long PLLC could not speak to the details of the settlement.
