Judge Dismisses $500M Patent Suit Vs. Intel

Law360, New York (March 7, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A U.S. judge has dismissed a patent-infringement lawsuit filed by a Canadian company that sought $500 million from Intel Corp. in a dispute over microprocessor technology.

U.S. District Judge Gerald Bruce Lee of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, granted Intel's request to dismiss the case last month.

The judge said he would consider Intel's request to compel All Computers Inc. to pay Intel's legal fees. A hearing on the request is scheduled for April 1, according to the court docket....
