FERC Greenlights $45M Dominion Interstate Pipeline

Law360, New York (February 23, 2012, 7:21 PM EST) -- A $45 million pipeline venture proposed by power company Dominion to carry shale gas between New York and Pennsylvania was pushed along by a federal energy agency Wednesday.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission said the power company's subsidiary Dominion Transmission Inc. could begin construction on its Ellisburg-to-Craigs Project, which sprung up from a 10-year leasing agreement Dominion signed with Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company in August.

The pipeline, with a capacity of 150,000 dekatherms per day, will move natural gas from Tennessee Gas's 300 Line pipeline system...
