Lego's Parent Co. Builds $535M Stake In German Wind Farm

Law360, New York (February 23, 2012, 2:08 PM EST) -- The Danish parent company of popular toymaker Lego Group plans to procure a minority stake in one of Dong Energy A/S' proposed offshore German wind farms for 3 billion Danish kroner ($535.9 million), the energy company said Thursday.

Kirkbi A/S will buy a 32 percent share in the project through a joint venture with the investment arm of Danish hearing aid maker The Oticon Foundation, which will throw in 1.7 billion kroner to grab an 18 percent share — rounding out the investments to a full...
