Mortgage Lenders Claims Wells Fargo Owes $2.4M

Law360 (August 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Mortgage Lenders Network USA Inc. on Tuesday filed an adversary case against Wells Fargo Bank NA, claiming the bank, which replaced it as servicer of certain mortgage loans, owes it over $2.4 million.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Mortgage Lenders said it expected to be reimbursed for millions of dollars it paid out before Wells Fargo assumed the servicing rights in April.
